The building is licenced for a maximum occupancy of 140. It has two hireable spaces : a large high-ceilinged MAIN HALL, and a separate smaller MEETING ROOM.
The MAIN HALL is approx. 12 x 9 metres, with a 7 x 3 metres STAGE, theatre lighting system and lighting and sound mixing desk. There is a public address system with induction loop and a full HD projector and retractable screen. The main hall has full disabled access with separate disabled toilet and baby-change facilities. The main hall prior to a Christmas party
To the side of the hall is a smaller MEETING ROOM suitable for groups of 8 – 20 people depending on configuration, making it ideal for club meetings, committees and smaller groups wanting a more intimate setting. Provided with WiFi, the room is also available on an occasional or regular basis for use as an office workspace for remote working. Both these spaces are served by a well-equipped KITCHEN with large oven, hob, warming cupboard and crockery, cutlery and glasses for up to 100 guests. Hirers can choose to self-cater or to bring in outside caterers. The premises is licensed for the sale of alcohol and hirers can request use of this licence for a small fee.

Play area next to the village hall
Outside there is a popular children’s playground with swings, slides and other play equipment, all inspected regularly for safety. There is also a BMX track, a multi-use games area, an outdoor table tennis table and picnic area as well as a large recreation field.

The Village is unusually fortunate to have a separate Sports and Recreation Centre, located just across the car park, which is also available for hire, thus making it possible to cater for quite large events across the two venues.
